Hi! My name is Gen - online coach, self love advocate, and instagrammer.
My passion is helping women realize their full potential by teaching them to have control over their bodies and daily lives.
A little background on me: I was born and raised in a dairy town in Connecticut where the cow population outnumbered the people. I grew up believing anything is possible, and have always helped others do the same. I moved to California when I was 18 to pursue my education. The transition was difficult, and my body and health suffered as a result. I lost sight of who I was, and used food to cope with the stress. Before I knew it, I reached my heaviest weight of 200lbs.
I was lost, confused, depressed, and 50lbs overweight.
I had tried to lose weight SO many times before. I got gym memberships and never went. I counted calories for a month and then gave up. I did all of this research but the issue was that one person would say one thing and then the next person would say something completely different. I didn’t know who or what I was supposed to believe. Finally, I decided enough was enough. I became like a sponge and absorbed anything and everything I could think of to promote lifelong, sustainable weight loss. I knew that if I had a plan that I could not fail. I put all of my energy into cultivating a positive mindset about my body and transformation. Within 9 months, I reached my goal.
It was not until 2017 that I built up the courage to start sharing my story. The more I shared, the more people wanted me to help them reach their own goals. As my calling began to take form, things began to fall into place and I finally knew where I wanted to take my career and life. I took a risk, quit my day job as a Creative Director, opened Gen's Gym and dove face first into online coaching. My process circumvents the confusion caused by fad diets, extreme workout routines, and flat tummy teas and replaces it with an easy to follow, step-by-step process that allows women to have their cake, and eat it too.
I have helped 100's of women lose fat, repair their negative relationship with food, and develop unshakable confidence.
We do this by empowering women to learn the foundations of a happy body, life, and soul through balanced nutrition, moderate exercise, and positive psychology practices developed by some of the greatest coaches in the world.
